Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Main Purpose:

To effectively lead, control and manage the distributor and his team to achieve the distribution objectives which contribute overall to the ICP. This position facilitates the day to day operations between Nestle and the distributor(s) to effectively execute category requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable and responsible for the ICP sales / volumes / value and RIG objectives for their respective region through effective execution of plans
  • Responsible to execute the agreed upon business plan with the distributor and managing the business plan and investments required to achieve it
  • Accountable and responsible for effective adaptation and implementation of channel and sales plans
  • Accountable for driving performance against plan and recommending corrective measures as required to achieve or surpass ICP
  • Responsible to execute plans as agreed upon between the CDT & Sales Teams & to maximize opportunities and tailor solutions to needs
  • Accountable for the effective execution of all activities in line with plan
  • Accountable for the development of distributor's sales team via regular on-the-job training and field appraisal
  • Accountable to carry out the field assessments among distributor staff and implement the required training to address staff training and development needs
  • Responsible for highlighting potential operational and commercial gaps versus Nestle commercial standards that may effect business continuity
  • Accountable and responsible for building and maintaining good commercial relationship with key customers
  • Accountable and responsible to develop effective customer plans and regularly review performance
  • Accountable for managing and controlling the Cost of Doing Business with key customers and channels
  • Ensure strict adherence and compliance on all activities undertaken, including those taking place on trade, to the WHO International Code of Marketing of Breast-Milk substitutes and Nestle Instructions and local country codes.
  • Comply with Nestl s strictest requirements that Nestl marketing and sales personnel will not seek contact with, or give advice to pregnant women, or mothers of infants and young children regarding Infant Formula in their business capacity

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a related industry.
Strong commercial mindset with solid analytical skills.
Hands-on experience in sales functions.
Excellent communication skills with strong influencing and persuasion abilities.
Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships
