Associate Manager - Financial Planning and Analysis Majid Al Futtaim

ROLE SUMMARY

• Provide timely and accurate financial planning and analysis to support effective decision-making.
• Implement, maintain, and oversee rent control processes, partnering closely with the Real Estate department to manage rent payments across MAF Entertainment sites.
• Design and maintain Power BI solutions, including data modeling, transformation, and visualization, while ensuring data hygiene and managing centralized data warehouse flows.
• Review and enhance transaction processing and financial systems to improve reporting speed and accuracy, ensuring alignment with best practices.
• Collaborate with process owners and functional teams to define requirements for reporting structure redesigns and other strategic initiatives.
• Ensure timely submission of budgets and forecasts, conduct variance analysis, and recommend corrective actions to management.
• Support various ad-hoc projects, conduct business analyses and financial modeling, and present recommendations to senior leadership.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of business drivers and variables, with specific accountability for rent analysis, control, and reporting accuracy.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance is required; professional accounting qualifications (CA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) are preferred.
• Minimum of 3+ years in FP&A or control roles, with 2+ years as a Power BI developer. Experience with financial systems like Hyperion, SQL, SAP, and Oracle is essential.
• Strong financial analysis and modeling capabilities, along with advanced problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Proficient in Power BI (including DAX), data modeling, and understanding of data architecture and SQL queries.
• Highly skilled in MS Excel, MS Office, Outlook, and PowerPoint; capable of producing clear and accurate financial documentation.
• Maintains strict confidentiality with financial data and possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear reporting and collaboration.
