POSITION SNAPSHOT
Role: Associate Manager, Trade Optimization
Location: JO-Head Office Amman

POSITION SUMMARY
The Trade Asset Technical Manager prepares new machine launches by selecting market specific machine configuration, developing settings (e.g. recipes) and creating or adapting existing technical documentations. Further he/she provides the necessary technical training to NP Team (e.g. Commercial Team) as well as 3rd Parties (e.g. Operators, 3rd Party Service Providers).
In addition, the role supports the sales process of the Commercial Team by organizing cupping sessions, technical comparisons, trade fairs or test installations. Further, the Trade Asset Technical Manager is in charge of the technical functionality of the local show room.
Responsible for the technical and competitive technical services, set up the technical service network and ensure Quality and cost control, including facilities and fair trade (Warehouses, Call Centers, Showroom)
Further the role is responsible for documenting and escalating technical machine issues and warranty claims ( Issue Management Process) as well as the necessary follow up. Finally, it provides expertise for local technology projects (e.g. payment systems) and shares feedback about machine shortcomings, technical issues and improvement areas with the Region or the Systems TCU (Innovation & Renovation process).

A DAY IN THE LIFE
Creation and testing of required settings for Trade Assets (including documentation)
Creation of all machine field management protocols such as installation, preventive and corrective maintenance.
Roll out project launches for new solutions, technical related, toghether with the beverage manager, including new technical components when aplicable. (payment systems, telemetry, )
Roll out of software upgrades and parts / retro fit kits into machine park. Define the spare parts stock levels according to the customer needed and technical requirements. Support for Commercial Team (readiness of test machine pool), technical training and call center support.
Ensure adherence to the Best Practices and Preferred Model List, monitor Issue Management and and Quality.
Support and maintain all Risk Assessments and SOP involved with machines in the market, with the cooperation of the TAO Manager

What will make you successful
'Strong experience in Beverage Systems technical operations and technical know-how about technical equipment, better if coffee oriented (machines, grinders, liquid milk, payment systems, etc.) Background in Engineering Industry is a plus.
Strong communication skills and experience in providing training. Train the trainer. Customer facing.
Hands-on mentality and flexibility
Work within a matrix environment and managing stakeholders.
Quality management systems including analysis and problem solving.
