Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in Artificial Intelligence (AI) with a focus on but not limited to the following domains: Machine Learning and Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Robotics and Autonomous Systems, AI in Cyber-Physical Systems and Smart Infrastructure, Edge AI and Embedded Systems, AI for Engineering Applications (e.g., energy, manufacturing, transportation).
Engage in scholarly research and publications in AI.
Advise students on academic and career goals.
Collaborate with other faculty members and staff to develop new programs and initiatives.
Provide service to the department, college, university, and profession.
Perform other duties as assigned by the program chair or the College Dean.
Desired Candidate Profile
A Ph.D. degree in Artificial Intelligence or a closely related field from a recognized university.
At least five years of teaching experience for the Associate Professor Position
A record of excellence in teaching, research, and service.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills
Knowledge of accreditation standards and requirements
Knowledge of student development theory and best practices in higher education.
Experience in the field or industry related to the department or program.
