Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in Architectural Engineering with a focus on but not limited to the following domains: Computer Applications in Architecture, Perspective and Visual Design, History and Theory of Architecture, Architectural Analysis and Criticism, Urban Planning and Design, Illumination and Acoustics, Architectural Design, etc.

Engage in scholarly research and publications in Architectural Engineering.

Advise students on academic and career goals.

Collaborate with other faculty members and staff to develop new programs and initiatives.

Provide service to the department, college, university, and profession.

Perform other duties as assigned by the program chair or the College Dean.

Desired Candidate Profile

A Ph.D. degree in Architectural Engineering or a closely related field from a recognized university.

At least seven years of teaching experience.

A record of excellence in teaching, research, and service.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and time management skills

Knowledge of accreditation standards and requirements

Knowledge of student development theory and best practices in higher education.

Experience in the field or industry related to the department or program.
