Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the deployment, configuration, and ongoing management of security tools and platforms (MDM, DLP, endpoint protection, etc.).
  • Monitor and respond to alerts from email security gateways and endpoint protection systems.
  • Support application control initiatives including application whitelisting and software inventory management.
  • Participate in data protection efforts by enforcing and monitoring DLP policies across endpoints and cloud services.
  • Assist with onboarding and managing mobile and BYOD devices via MDM solutions.
  • Maintain documentation for standard operating procedures and configurations.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to investigate security incidents and ensure timely remediation.
  • Conduct routine audits and generate reports related to security tool performance and policy compliance.
  • Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies.
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure timely application of patches, updates, and system hardening.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of security documentation, including procedures, reports, and runbooks.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 0 3 years of experience in IT or cybersecurity roles.
  • Familiarity with core security concepts such as firewalls, antivirus, access control, and encryption.
  • Basic understanding of security concepts, network protocols, and operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
  • Familiarity with any of the following tools is a plus: Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Defender, Symantec DLP, CrowdStrike, Proofpoint.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or equivalent are a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
