Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

This role will work closely with the Group s subsidiaries to monitor their financial and operational objectives, lead strategic initiatives such as fundraising, M&A, IPO readiness, and financial restructuring across the portfolio, and based on analysis recommend value creation initiatives and opportunities to the Investment Committee.

They will ensure appropriate governance is in place to organize regular and comprehensive, yet non-invasive, controls. This role will also define the Group s divestment plan and manage its execution, including exit readiness for both trade sales and public listings.

The role will regularly present to the Investment Committee corrective actions to be taken in relation to the Group s assets, with a particular focus on financial optimization, shareholder matters, and capital structure improvements.

They will also own the quarterly portfolio review report presenting the state of each asset in details, together with financial performances and main events of the quarter, as well as progress against strategic transformation objectives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Manages staff assigned to the level determined by senior management.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

  • Act as the key coordinator between the Group and its subsidiaries on all matters related to asset performance, value creation, and strategic asset initiatives
  • Lead post-deal monitoring and value realization activities across the portfolio
  • Monitoring and reporting of portfolio company KPI s.
  • Manages divestment activities, including exit readiness for trade sales and public listings
  • Meets with subsidiaries to assess asset status, needs, risks, goals and progress.
  • Prepares business activity reports and forecasts.
  • Develops, organizes and maintains asset portfolios.
  • Support subsidiaries based on their operational and financial priorities, including capital structure optimization and governance upgrades
  • Make suggestions on each Asset to improve value creation
  • Coordinates with partner asset managers, and other third parties.
  • Fosters and maintains positive partner relationships.
  • Compiles and presents asset management reports to Group Asset Management Director and senior executives
  • Manages asset team efforts to accomplish related tasks as required.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field such as finance, business, economics.
  • Ideally, a master's degree in a related field, such as an MBA or Masters degree from a Business School.
  • Ideally, a professional finance qualification, such as a Chartered Management Accountant (CMA or CiMA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).
  • Proven ability to manage a team of financial professionals.

Experience:

  • Several years experience in asset management or related field preferred.
  • At least 6-8 years of experience in related fields such as investment management, technology M&A, strategy or executive management.
  • Experience leading growth or venture capital fundraising, including direct engagement with institutional investors and driving fundraising strategy
  • Strong track record executing cross-border sell-side M&A transactions, covering the full transaction lifecycle from valuation to closing
  • Demonstrated involvement in IPO or trade sale readiness, with hands-on work in financial preparation, governance enhancement, and exit planning
  • Experience overseeing or advising on financial restructuring, including debt optimization, refinancing, and capital structure adjustments
  • Leadership experience of managing a team of finance professionals.
