Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsible for the day to day activities and supporting the local Operations Manager in the execution of priorities and tasks.

  • Reviewing performance daily, identifying challenges with key operations metrics, and using deep-dive analytics for resolution.
  • Monitoring of inventory / price updates, identifying any issues and resolving to ensure correct availability & prices.
  • Responsible for ensuring vendors have the right training, tools (devices, etc) and processes in place ensuring local tracking, implementation and vendors compliance.
  • Support the local operations team to improve operational metrics, enhancing operational efficiency & setting vendors up for success.
  • Maintenance of ongoing performance metrics, reports and dashboards.
  • Build a robust forecasting process for brand and picker forecasting, along with monitoring tools.
  • Analyze Operations/Sales data to support decision making.
  • Experiment with new ideas and share results.
  • Collaborate with other VC's within the market and across the region for best practices and lessons learned.
  • Regularly reviewing vendors' assortment looking at orders generated & top out of stock worst offenders; sharing reports with the local operations manager.
  • Simplify and automate reporting and other data-driven activities.
  • Supporting reconciliation of ops related costs.

Desired Candidate Profile

Strong analytical mindset with hands-on experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Proficiency and demonstrated experience in: SQL, Tableau, Excel. Experience with Python is highly desirable.

Strong problem solving, decision making skills and data driven approach.

Ability to process documents and guidelines.

Ability to work with data and highlight key insights.

Ability to solve minor issues efficiently, understand which issues require escalation and propose documents/changes to mitigate.
