Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Manage overall daily operations of the hypermarket.

  2. Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

  3. Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue.

  4. Supervise and lead store supervisors and department staff.

  5. Ensure proper staff scheduling, attendance, and productivity.

  6. Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve customer complaints.

  7. Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of products.

  8. Control stock loss, wastage, and shrinkage.

  9. Ensure accurate pricing, labeling, and product display.

  10. Maintain proper visual merchandising and store presentation.

  11. Monitor cash handling and daily sales reconciliation.

  12. Control operational expenses and improve profitability.

  13. Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures.

  14. Maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards in the store.

  15. Coordinate with purchasing and suppliers for stock availability.

  16. Implement promotional campaigns and in-store marketing activities.

  17. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.

  18. Analyze store performance and take corrective actions when required.

  19. Ensure security measures and loss prevention procedures are followed.

  20. Support recruitment, training, and performance management of store staff.
