Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

To lead and manage all Electrical Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC) activities in the offshore fabrication yard, ensuring electrical works comply with project specifications, approved drawings, international standards, statutory regulations, and client requirements.

  • Lead and supervise the Electrical QA/QC team in the fabrication yard.
  • Develop, review, and implement Electrical ITPs, Procedures, Method Statements, and Quality Control plans.
  • Ensure effective implementation of Project Quality Plan and ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Manage QC activities for electrical works including:
    • Cable trays, conduits, and supports
    • Power, control, and instrumentation cabling
    • Glanding, termination, and ferruling
    • Switchgear, MCCs, panels, transformers
    • Lighting, earthing, and lightning protection systems
    • Electrical equipment installation for offshore modules and packages
  • Ensure installation is as per approved drawings, standards, and specifications.
  • Review and approve electrical inspection and test records.
  • Witness and verify electrical testing activities such as:
    • Insulation Resistance (IR) & Continuity Tests
    • Earth resistance testing
    • Functional and pre?commissioning checks
  • Coordinate with third?party and statutory authorities for inspections and approvals.
