Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Strategic

· Define & achieve sales strategy in respective region

· Identify opportunities for growth, formulate business expansion strategies and support business development

Process/Operational

· Define key account management strategy, key accounts, pricing & service initiatives for key accounts

· Personal effort to explore new major accounts and achieve one in every quarter.

· Analyze & compare sales figures against previous year figures

· Analyze performance of sales supervisors in branches

· Develop pricing strategies

· Communicate market feedback to business, highlight opportunities and weaknesses

· Track, monitor and respond to competitor strategies

· Develop, monitor incentive schemes for the sales team

· Define customer feedback mechanism, monitor results & recommend improvement strategies

· Define & implement collection strategy, ensure timely collections & recommend actions against defaulting customers

· Co-ordinate with Transport department to arrange transportation & containers for deliveries

· Attend daily co-ordination meeting with Production & Store Officers / In charges

· Follow up daily production against orders, confirm payment / receipt of L/c. and advise arrangement of deliveries

· Co-ordinate with commercial, A/c., Production & filling depts. In connection with day to day matters concerning to them.

· Managing the business with available resources .

People

· Ensure attraction, retention and skill development of sales team to create a high performing talent pool

Desired Candidate Profile

Education & Experience

  • ·Bachelors/Masters in Business Management preferably with Marketing specialization
  • 5–7 years of experience in sales with at least 2 years as sales manager
