Job Description: Audio Visual (AV) Presales Engineer

Position Overview:

The Audio-Visual Pre-Sales Engineer is responsible for supporting sales teams by designing, specifying, and proposing technical AV solutions for clients. This role involves collaborating with customers, sales representatives, and project teams to ensure that proposed systems meet client needs while adhering to industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

# Solution Design & Proposal Development

# Work closely with sales teams to understand customer requirements and business objectives.

# Design and specify AV / ELV ystems (e.g., video conferencing, digital signage, control systems, audio systems, PA, GRMS, Master Clock, unified communications etc).

# Create detailed technical proposals, including system diagrams, equipment lists, and Commercial Proposal.

# Ensure solutions comply with industry standards and Project Specifications.

# Technical Consultation & Client Engagement

# Act as a technical advisor to clients, explaining complex AV concepts in simple terms.

# Conduct Meetings and workshop with Client to assess infrastructure and integration requirements.

# Vendor & Partner Coordination and gain product and technical knowledge

# Liaise with manufacturers and vendors to stay updated on new technologies and product offerings.

# Evaluate and recommend AV equipment based on performance, cost, and compatibility.

# Prepare technical documentation, including scope of work (SOW), functional descriptions, and operational guidelines.

# Ensure designs align with Security, IT, and network, etc related policies.

# Continuous Learning & Industry Awareness

# Obtain and maintain relevant certifications (e.g., CTS, Crestron DMC-E, Extron AV Associate, etc.).

Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelors degree or Diploma in Audio-Visual Technology, Engineering degree/ Diploma in Electronics, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience: Freshers / Experienced candidates

Strong knowledge of AV protocols (Dante, AV over IP, HDBaseT, SIP, H.323, etc.) Preferred.

# Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

# Travel may be required for client meetings, site surveys, Trainings and industry events. (Should travel to Saudi Arabia upon request)
