Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in the execution of audit procedures, including testing of internal controls and substantive testing of account balances, under the guidance of senior team members.
- Prepare and review audit documentation, such as working papers and schedules, ensuring accuracy and completeness to support audit findings.
- Conduct research on accounting and auditing standards, as well as industry-specific regulations, to ensure compliance.
- Perform data analysis using audit software and tools to identify trends, anomalies, and potential risks.
- Participate in inventory observation and verification procedures, including physical counts and reconciliation.
- Communicate with client personnel to gather information, resolve discrepancies, and address audit inquiries professionally.
- Assist in the preparation of audit reports and presentations, summarizing findings and recommendations.
- Gain exposure to various industries and business processes by working on a diverse portfolio of audit engagements.
- Contribute to the team's overall efficiency by assisting with administrative tasks, such as organizing files and managing project timelines.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of audit methodologies and principles to ensure the effectiveness of audit procedures.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Pursuing ACCA/CA/CPA
- Fresher or 1 year of relevant experience
- Proficient knowledge and use of office productivity tools and accounting software (MS Office, Tally, Quickbooks, Sage, etc)
