Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement risk-based annual audit plans aligned with client objectives.
• Lead audit engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting.
• Assess financial, operational, and compliance risks across diverse industries.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, ISA, UAE corporate regulations, and internal policies.
• Prepare and present detailed audit reports with findings and actionable recommendations.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of auditors, ensuring high performance.
• Act as a liaison between clients, external auditors, and regulatory authorities.
• Advise clients on improving internal controls, efficiency, and governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with CBCu2019s Tax, Compliance, and Corporate Services teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Requirements

• Experience: 8+ years of audit experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role within the UAE or GCC.
• Education & Certification: Bacheloru2019s degree in accounting/finance; CPA, CA, or ACCA qualified.
• Regulatory Registration: Individually registered and listed with both the Ministry of Economy and the Emirates Auditors & Accountants Authority (EAAA).
• Technical Knowledge: Strong expertise in IFRS, ISA, risk management, and UAE regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to manage audit teams and client portfolios.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills.
• Proficiency in audit software, risk management tools, and Microsoft Office.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
