Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Audit Trainee will support the audit team in performing financial audits and other assurance services. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in auditing, develop a deep understanding of financial reporting, and learn about various industries. The role involves working closely with senior auditors and managers to ensure compliance with auditing standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the execution of audit engagements.
Prepare and organize audit work papers, ensuring all documentation meets professional standards and is completed accurately.
Perform data analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and unusual transactions.
Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and support during the audit process.
Ensure all audit activities comply with established auditing standards and company policies.
Provide administrative support to the audit team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining audit files.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications:
- ACCA Qualified or Part Qualified CA / ACCA
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous internship or work experience in auditing, accounting, or finance is a plus but not required.
- 3 years contract and permanent position based on performance
