Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring timely and compliant reporting to support management decision-making.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements by compiling data from various sources and verifying accuracy.
  • Conduct reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts to identify discrepancies and ensure financial integrity.
  • Support the accounts payable and receivable processes by verifying invoices, processing payments, and tracking outstanding balances.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field to demonstrate foundational knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Professional certifications such as ACCA or CPA preferred to signify commitment to the accounting profession.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles, showcasing a practical understanding of financial processes.
  • Experience in a corporate or financial services environment, preferably within a similar industry for better contextual understanding.
