Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Ensures quality denting, welding and fabrication is done on the vehicles.

  • Remove and replace vehicle body panels, panel sections and ancillary fittings.

  • Use and maintain workplace tools and Equipment's.

  • Repair body panels and minor structural damage.

  • Replace major welded panels.

  • Follow foreman’s instructions as to which parts to restore or replace and how much time the job should take.

  • Chain or clamp frames and sections to alignment machines that use hydraulic pressure to align damaged components.

  • Carry out repairs for metal corrosion on the structural panel.

  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring every repair meets high-quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, fostering collaboration within the shop.
  • Familiarity with automotive repair software for documentation and customer management.
