Key Responsibilities

• Carry out all painting and refinishing work in accordance with MG Guidelines and IEM SOP.
• Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and removing old paint using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Mix and match paint colors to ensure they align with the vehicle s original color specifications.
• Apply primers and paint using spray guns and other professional painting equipment.
• Polish painted surfaces through wet-sanding and buffing after paint has dried.
• Mask specific areas of vehicles using tape and paper to ensure accurate multi-color painting.
• Coordinate with the Workshop Controller regarding vehicle status and the Parts Advisor to obtain required parts.
• Inspect vehicles to determine if parts need replacement, protection, or additional preparation before painting.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and the paint booth, including replacing filters and fan belts when necessary.
• Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and compliant with company standards.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times.
