Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced Automotive Team Lead Painter to supervise and execute high-quality painting jobs in our body shop. The ideal candidate must be skilled in color matching, refinishing, and managing a team of painters to deliver excellent results.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and guide a team of automotive painters and helpers.
Oversee surface preparation, priming, color matching, and final paint application.
Ensure all paint jobs meet OEM quality standards.
Conduct pre‑ and post‑paint inspections to ensure defect‑free finishes.
Coordinate workflow with body technicians and service teams for timely delivery.
Maintain spray booths, tools, and painting equipment.
Ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper material handling.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements
Diploma/Certificate in Automotive Painting or Body Shop Technology.
4–8 years of professional painting experience.
Strong knowledge of color matching, blending, and refinishing techniques.
Experience in a dealership or certified body shop preferred.
Leadership and team‑management skills.
