Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description & Responsibilities:
- Create, modify, and update detailed technical drawings and designs for telecommunication infrastructure projects using AutoCAD software.
- Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and other design documents to develop accurate and clear drawings.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- If required, conduct field visits to gather necessary information and measurements for drawing creation or modification.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including drawing logs, revision records, and as-built drawings.
- Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to obtain necessary information and incorporate it into the drawings.
- Perform quality checks on drawings to identify errors, discrepancies, or inconsistencies and make necessary corrections.
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities and obtain necessary permits and approvals required for construction activities, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of project cost estimates, material take-offs, and quantity surveys.
- Stay updated with the latest AutoCAD tools, techniques, and industry trends to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Desired Candidate Profile
Position Objectives:
- Responsible for creating and modifying detailed technical drawings and designs for telecommunication infrastructure projects using AutoCAD software. You will collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and precise drawings are produced within established deadlines.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree (or equivalent experience) with a minimum of 2 years of experience as an AutoCAD Operator.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D software and a strong understanding of its features and functions.
- In-depth knowledge of Telecom infrastructure design principles, standards, and practices.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to interpret engineering sketches and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drawing creation and modification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong command of English language.
