Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings for civil and MEP projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design specifications and industry standards.

  • Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements, incorporate design changes, and refine drawings throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Prepare comprehensive construction documents, including plans, elevations, sections, and details, suitable for permit submissions and construction.

  • Perform site visits to gather data, verify existing conditions, and ensure drawings accurately reflect the as-built environment.

  • Prepare detailed drawings using AutoCAD for civil and MEP projects

  • Interpret engineering and architectural designs into technical drawings

  • Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project teams

  • Revise drawings based on feedback and project changes

  • Maintain proper documentation of drawings and revisions

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field, providing a foundational understanding of engineering principles.

  • Holds a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in AutoCAD drafting, demonstrating practical application of skills.

  • Proficient in AutoCAD software, including both 2D and 3D drafting capabilities and experience in Civil and MEP projects.

  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of drafting standards, building codes, and industry best practices.

  • Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Civil & MEP drafting

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (knowledge of other software is a plus)

  • Strong understanding of construction drawings and MEP systems

  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
