Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts using AutoCAD, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements, scope, and deadlines, translating these into clear and concise drawings.
  • Perform site surveys to gather data and dimensions for existing electrical systems, incorporating this information into updated or new drawings.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other technical documents to create accurate and complete electrical designs.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Diploma or Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field, providing a solid foundation in electrical principles.
  • Holds relevant certifications such as AutoCAD certification, demonstrating proficiency in the software and design principles.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical drafting, with a focus on commercial or industrial projects.
  • Exhibits a strong understanding of electrical codes (e.g., NEC, IEC) and standards, ensuring designs meet regulatory requirements.
