AutoCAD Draughtsman (Civil)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed 2D technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD, adhering to industry standards and project specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other design professionals to interpret design concepts and translate them into accurate technical drawings.
• Revise and update existing drawings based on project modifications and client feedback.
• Prepare construction documents, including sections, elevations, details, and schedules.
• Maintain a well-organized electronic filing system for all project drawings.
• Conduct constructability reviews to identify potential issues and ensure project feasibility.
• May participate in site visits to gather additional project information

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an AutoCAD Draughtsman or similar role in the UAE, with a focus on civil engineering projects.
• Proven proficiency in AutoCAD software, including a strong understanding of 2D drafting tools and techniques.
• Working knowledge of civil engineering design principles and terminology.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience with additional design software (e.g., Revit) a plus.
• Experience working on projects in the UAE according to local building codes and standards is highly desirable.
