Automation Project Engineer with project management experience from Aluminum Industry.

• Qualification: Engineering or Equivalent in IT & Automation Stream. A or project management certification will be an added advantage.

• Should have at least 8 years of project, design & engineering experience in Aluminum Industries is preferred

• Project engineers should be with background in Information Technology / Automation / SAP.

• Project Engineer is to provide project management, engineering & design support in Aluminum smelter areas

• Project Engineer is accountable for providing project management support to pre-defined areas of the Plant as well as limited discipline engineering advice to the engineering team servicing the smelter, port & Power Plant facilities.

• Proposed Engineer shall be working on many projects inside or outside and shall report to senior project engineer or superintendent, or as Engineering Department

• Proposed engineer shall closely monitor the work done by contractor to confirm the work as per approved drawings and specification of the project.

• Proposed Engineer shall monitor and control all the activities of contractor at site to accomplish project goals within allotted time frame in budget and maintaining Aluminum standards of quality.

• He or she expected to shall report to senior engineer on daily basis and shall submit or present to higher management the project progress and forecast on monthly basis.

• Abide with zero harm policy of Aluminum and conform Aluminum EHS requirements

• Provide engineering services, specifically project management and engineering support as per Engineer in charge requirements.

• Manage and co-ordinate any related engineering and pre-operational testing in order to achieve cost effective and timely commissioning and ramp-up of the requests, in compliance with standards and procedures.

• Evaluate and make recommendations on proposed projects. Write technical reports and documents.

• Monitor and evaluate the overall job performance of all engineering contractors.

• Handle respective clients and multiple stakeholders.

• Should have excellent communication, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
