Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Develop a comprehensive understanding of the marketplace across the industry, including, but not limited to:

o Customers’ organizations, decision influencers, future plans & projects

o Competitor’s situation, products, offerings

o Suppliers’ situation, products, offerings

o General technical developments in the company’s domain, segments, and verticals within the region, and Keep '

updated on automation and instruments market business and product trends

2. Identify new business opportunities to grow in the markets and develop “go to market” strategies to drive business to the end customer.

3. Perform customer site surveys and identify potential up-coming opportunities.

4. Maintain relationships with customers to ensure highest satisfaction levels and future business.

5. Act as a consultant to multiple levels of the customer’s organization by understanding their challenges and recommending solutions/services to ensure their systems perform as required.

6. Build strategic relationships with suppliers, and ensure receiving long-term competitive prices from them.

7. Prepare estimates and collaborate with internal proposal team to develop value-based proposals and presentations for customers

8. Co-ordinate with project team, review contracts, ensure smooth handover, attend project kick-off meetings and support in collection of receivable

9. Develop and maintain a qualified funnel of opportunities, achieve new order/booking and profit goals

10. Ensure strict compliance with company policies, procedures, and guidelines

11. Report to Sales Manager / Dept. Manager

Desired Candidate Profile

Basic Qualifications

· Bachelors of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Control System / Industrial Automation / Electronic

· Preferred 5+ years of Project sales experience with reputed SI/OEM in the field of Process Automation or a related field

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

· Excellent communication and presentation skills

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite


Preferred Qualifications

· Strong know/how of automation products and solutions specifically of Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider and Honerywell products/solutions

· Financial expertise to estimate and sell technical solutions and service offerings effectively

· Experience selling to end users, EPCs and contractors

· Experience of handing customers of O&G, Chem & Petro Chem. industry

· Account development and strategic sales skills

· Excellent organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills
