Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
At Capgemini Engineering, we are looking for an experienced Automotive Chassis Expert to join our R&D teams and support high-value automotive projects.
Your role
- Act as the technical reference for all chassis-related topics (suspension, steering, braking, axles, wheel/tyre systems)
- Design, develop, and validate chassis systems
- Lead technical studies related to chassis architecture in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Define and approve validation test plans and technical reports
- Perform simulations and analyses related to vehicle dynamics and chassis performance
- Contribute to innovation initiatives, patents, and RFQs
- Ensure technology watch and continuous improvement within the chassis perimeter
Desired Candidate Profile
- Master s degree or Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in the automotive industry, with strong expertise in Chassis / Vehicle Dynamics
- Solid knowledge of technical specifications for chassis components
- Experience with CATIA V5 / V6 and PLM systems
- Strong analytical skills, structured problem-solving, and project management mindset
- Fluent in English and French
