Job Purpose

Shop Floor Auxiliary to support daily manufacturing and machining operations. The role is responsible for maintaining shopfloor housekeeping, CNC machine cleaning, and ensure to maintain safe and clean environment machine shop

Job Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning of machines, components, and shopfloor areas as per 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Perform cleaning of shopfloor using cleaning cart.
• Dispose of scrap, chips, and waste materials as per safety and environmental guidelines.
• Support in positioning parts, fixtures, and tools under operator supervision.
• Support in cleaning the machine during machine maintenance activities.
• Required to clean oil spillage or oil stains immediately.
• Follow all shopfloor safety rules, PPE requirements, and EHSS procedures.

Job Requirements

• Education & Qualification
• Basic schooling preferred.
• Training in industrial safety or housekeeping is an advantage.
• Experience
• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment is preferred.
• Fresh candidates willing to learn will also be considered.
• Skills & Competencies
• Basic understanding of shopfloor safety and PPE usage.
• Ability to handle physical work and stand for extended periods.
• Familiarity with driving cleaning cart.
• Willingness to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and attention to cleanliness.
• 5 years - Assist main machine operators; handle material movement and support production activities.
