Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement control system programs for AV and ELV systems, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
  • Conduct thorough system testing and commissioning, meticulously verifying all aspects of the system's performance and compliance with design specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to AV and ELV systems, including hardware, software, and network configurations.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including programming code, wiring diagrams, and user manuals.
  • Collaborate with project managers, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Provide technical training and support to end-users, empowering them to effectively operate and maintain the installed systems.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in AV and ELV systems, continuously enhancing your skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in site surveys and pre-commissioning activities, contributing to the overall project planning and execution.
  • Perform system upgrades and modifications as required, ensuring systems remain up-to-date and meet evolving needs.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, prioritizing a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in AV and ELV system commissioning and programming.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, VLANs, and network security.
  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Holds relevant certifications such as CTS, Crestron, or AMX certifications, demonstrating expertise in AV control systems.
  • Exhibits excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
  • Displays strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively interacting with clients and colleagues.
  • Demonstrates a proactive and detail-oriented approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Possesses a strong understanding of AV and ELV system design and integration principles.
  • Has experience working on projects in the commercial, residential, or hospitality sectors
