Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and commission a wide range of AV systems (video conferencing, displays, audio systems, control processors, switching/distribution, etc.)
- Conduct site surveys, prepare material lists, and support BOQ validation
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance checks
- Assist in programming or configuration of control systems (AMX, Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, or similar)
- Coordinate with project managers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timely project delivery
Produce technical reports, as-built documentation, and handover packages
- Provide on-site and remote technical support as required
- Ensure adherence to installation standards and health & safety guidelines
Desired Candidate Profile
Required Qualifications & Experience
-Hands-on experience in AV installation, commissioning, or support
-Strong knowledge of AV equipment from major vendors (Logitech, Cisco, Biamp, Q-SYS, Crestron, Extron, Samsung, NEC, etc.)
-Familiarity with network fundamentals (IP addressing, VLANs, PoE, switching)
-Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and cable schedules
-Experience working on corporate boardrooms, training rooms, command centers, or similar environments
-Strong troubleshooting skills and a high level of technical discipline
-Good communication and coordination skills
Certification(s) such as Q-SYS, Crestron, or Cisco are needed
