Qualifications and Skills:

1. Education:

1. Bachelor s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.

1. Experience:

1. 8+ years of hands-on experience in AV pre-sales engineering, with a strong focus on solution design and technical consultancy.
2. Proven expertise in end-to-end AV system architecture and integration for enterprise and commercial projects.

1. Technical Skills:

1. Comprehensive understanding of AV technologies, including:
   
   • Control Systems: Crestron, Extron, AMX programming and configuration.
   • Audio Systems: Shure, Sennheiser, and DSP processors such as Biamp and QSC.
   • Video Systems: LED and LCD video walls, projection systems, video-over-IP technologies, and matrix switchers.
   • Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC): Integration with platforms like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Cisco Webex.
   • Signal Management: Knowledge of HDBaseT, HDMI, DisplayPort, and IP streaming protocols.

1. Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Visio, and AV design software like D-Tools for creating detailed schematics and layouts.
2. Strong understanding of networking principles, including VLANs, QoS, multicast, and AV-over-IP systems (e.g., Dante, NDI, SDVoE).
3. Knowledge of AV standards and compliance

1. Ability to translate technical concepts into customer-focused solutions.
2. Strong technical documentation, proposal writing, and presentation skills.
3. Analytical and troubleshooting skills with a solution-oriented approach to complex AV challenges.
4. Effective time management to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

1. Professional Certifications:

1. CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) or CTS-D (Design).
2. Manufacturer certifications such as Crestron DMC-E, Extron AV Associate, or Shure Integrated Systems Certification.
