Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive AV Technician to support the hotel s daily operations and event requirements by providing efficient Audio-Visual (AV) services. The AV Technician will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of AV equipment for guest rooms, meetings, conferences, weddings, and other special events.

Set up, operate, and troubleshoot AV equipment including microphones, speakers, projectors, video conferencing tools, LED screens, lighting, and control systems.

Support live events, meetings, and functions across various hotel venues.

Coordinate with the Events and Engineering teams to ensure smooth execution of audio-visual needs.

Maintain, test, and inspect AV equipment on a regular basis.

Provide technical assistance to guests, clients, and team members during events.

Assist with inventory management and request repairs or replacements when needed.

Keep up to date with the latest AV trends and technology relevant to the hospitality industry.

Adhere to hotel safety standards and ensure secure handling of AV equipment.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications
-
Diploma or certificate in AV Technology, Electronics, or a related field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within hospitality or events industry.

Hands-on experience with AV systems (audio mixers, microphones, projectors, etc.).

Knowledge of video conferencing platforms and hybrid event setups is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Good communication skills in English.
