Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Install AV systems as per approved shop drawings and specifications
- Pull, route, and dress AV cables
- Terminate and label AV cables, patch panels, racks, and equipment
- Install AV equipment such as speakers, displays, projectors, LED screens, and control panels
- Assemble and install AV racks and cabinets
- Coordinate with electrical, lighting, and IT teams for system integration
- Support testing & commissioning (T&C) of AV systems
- Assist in system configuration and basic programming
- Troubleshoot AV system faults and connectivity issues
- Ensure proper grounding, containment, and segregation from power systems
- Integration with show lighting systems (DMX, timecode, synchronization)
- Installation of BGM, PA, and emergency voice evacuation systems (PAVA)
- Work on control systems
- Installation of LED walls and large-format display systems
Qualifications
- Diploma or technical certification in Electrical / Electronics / AV Technology
- Relevant AV certifications (preferred but not mandatory)
Experience
- 3 7 years of experience in AV installation within construction/MEP projects
- Experience in testing & commissioning is a strong advantage
Desired Candidate Profile
