Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
QX Aviation LLC, specializing in aviation fuel services and the operation of aviation refueling stations at airports in the Sultanate of Oman, announces its desire to appoint:
Aviation Fuel Engineer
Aviation Fueling Engineer
Main responsibilities:
Supervising aircraft refueling operations in accordance with JIG, IATA, ICAO, Oman CAA standards.
Performing technical inspections of all fuel supply equipment such as: fuel trucks, fuel tanks, ATG systems, filtration systems, and pipelines.
Monitoring fuel engineering and infrastructure projects related to tanks and storage facilities.
Monitoring the quality of Jet A-1 fuel, conducting and documenting daily and weekly quality tests.
Follow up on routine and emergency maintenance work for supply equipment and coordinate with suppliers and technical companies.
Preparing technical reports, risk studies, and improvement plans.
Training technicians and fuel supply teams on safety procedures, equipment handling, and emergencies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Oil and Gas Engineering, or a related field.
1 to 3 years of experience in aviation fuel or oil and gas operations.
Strong knowledge of Jet A-1 aircraft fuel standards and quality requirements.
Excellent knowledge of international safety standards JIG, IATA, ICAO.
Strong skills in reporting, communication, and working under operational pressure.
Proficiency in spoken and written English.
