Awal Gulf, was established in 1993 with an investment of US$ 20 Million, and had a yearly capacity to manufacture 1, 50,000 units of Window and Split Air-conditioners. Currently, the plants have the capacity to manufacture over 500,000 units annually with hopes to reach some higher numbers in the years to come. The company has its three manufacturing units in Sitra Industrial Area and Bahrain International Investment Park in Hidd. The company has a workforce of over 1500 employees.
