Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and scaling using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK to achieve high efficiency and repeatability.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline to ensure rapid and reliable software releases.
  • Design and implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using services like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Manage and optimize cloud resource costs through right-sizing, reserved instances, and other cost-saving strategies to maximize ROI.
  • Develop and maintain security best practices, including IAM roles, security groups, and encryption, to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, often involving distributed systems and microservices architectures, to minimize downtime.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field to establish a strong foundational understanding.
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional certification to demonstrate proven expertise in AWS DevOps practices.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps or a related field to handle complex infrastructure and deployment scenarios.
  • Experience with multiple cloud platforms, with a strong preference for AWS, to facilitate a diverse skill set.
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
