Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop scalable, reliable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into Azure-based data platforms.
Collaborate with data architects, data analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and design optimal data solutions.
Build and optimize data models for both analytical and operational use.
Ensure data integrity, quality, security, and compliance across the platform.
Monitor and troubleshoot production data pipelines and processes.
Document solutions, workflows, and data models for internal knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
Stay updated on Azure best practices and new services.

Required Skills and Experience:

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Data Engineering roles.
Strong expertise with Azure Data Factory (ADF) for building and managing ETL/ELT pipelines.
Experience with Azure data services such as Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Blob Storage.
Solid understanding of SQL, data modeling, and database design.
Knowledge of data integration patterns, performance optimization, and error handling.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell is a plus.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
Banking or financial services experience is highly desirable
