B2 Avionics Technician Airbus Industries

JOB SUMMARY:

The B2 Avionics Technician will be responsible to ensure optimal service support for maintenance and flight line activities to achieve the excellent fleet availability with highest quality and safety standards. The B2 Avionics Technician will also be responsible to perform detailed inspection, assembly, installation, repair or replacement of aircraft components and systems, maintenance (both scheduled and unscheduled) or refurbishing of aircraft and function check of components. The B2 Avionics Technician will perform OJT on location as required.

• Work as part of a team, specific duties will include the satisfactory performance of both scheduledbr
  and unscheduled maintenance of the helicopter fleet, within a customer environmentbr
• Undertake individually or as part of a team, aircraft maintenance, repair and inspection tasks,br
  quality checks and the completion of documentation in accordance with Company and Customerbr
  proceduresbr
• Check every time before to start any maintenance activity tools/GSE s for condition and expirationbr
  date, and ensure their correct usebr
• Check every time before starting any maintenance activity the components and parts forbr
  conditions (damages, leaks etc.) and that the applicability of the documentation is correctbr
• Perform electrical assembly, integration and modification, system repairs, first level Qualitybr
  inspection and functional tests of aircraft and componentsbr
• Analyze performance and isolates malfunctions of integrated avionic instrument and flight control systems
• Conduct checkouts of avionic instrument and flight control systems and components (includingbr
  repairs, overhauls, modifications, alignments, installation)br
• Inspects avionic instrument and flight control systemsbr
• Ensure that all work performed is recorded on the appropriate paperwork and signed for on abr
  progressive basisbr
• Ensure the correct use and control of aircraft parts and materialsbr
• Verify aircraft status regarding scheduled tasks and deferred items is updated, the aircraftbr
  condition is serviceable and sign the Release to Service of the aircraftbr
• Perform duties as assigned by the Site Manager, ensuring that all work is completed in a timelybr
  fashion and meets the delivery quality requirements of the Airbusbr
• Conduct on-the-job training activitybr
• Train personnel on the use of maintenance manualsbr
• Train personnel in all safety directives and FOD proceduresbr
• Perform other duties as assigned

Practical working experience in Dauphins/Panther (AS365).
