Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform inspection, testing, repair, modification, and certification of aircraft electrical and avionics systems in accordance with approved maintenance data.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve defects in communication, navigation, flight control, and electrical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with EASA, GCAA, FAA, or applicable aviation authority regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records in aircraft maintenance logs, technical documentation, and quality assurance systems.
  • Work closely with engineering, quality assurance, and flight operations to ensure airworthiness and dispatch reliability.
  • Interpret and apply maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and service bulletins.
  • Perform return-to-service release of aircraft systems within B2 license privileges.
  • Support aircraft during AOG (Aircraft on Ground) situations, including field maintenance as needed.
  • Ensure safe working practices and adherence to company safety management systems (SMS).

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Valid EASA Part-66 B2 License, or equivalent (e.g., GCAA B2 License, FAA A&P with avionics experience).
  • Minimum 3 5 years of hands-on experience on fixed-wing or rotary aircraft avionics systems.
  • Proven experience on avionics systems such as G1000/G3000, FMS, VHF/UHF Comm/Nav, TCAS, ADS-B, ELT, radar, and autopilot systems.
  • Strong knowledge of wiring schematics, avionics test equipment, and aircraft troubleshooting techniques.

Preferred:

  • Type ratings or endorsements on specific aircraft (e.g., Airbus, Boeing, Diamond DA40/42, Gulfstream, etc.).
  • Experience working under Part-145 regulations in an AMO or airline MRO environment.
  • Familiarity with electronic documentation systems (AMOS, TRAX, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Safety Management Systems (SMS) and Human Factors principles.
