Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Role
- The main role of the Back-Office Ticketing Agent is to ensure the processing, monitoring, and administrative, operational, and technical compliance of booking files, while guaranteeing the smooth running of internal operations and customer satisfaction in a digital environment.
Main responsibilities
- Booking processing (airlines, hotels, packages, additional services)
- Monitoring of client files before, during and after the trip
- Mission management, including mission bookings, cancellations, and refunds
- Verification of the conformity of files (documents, payments, pricing conditions)
- Daily use of the GDS (Amadeus or equivalent)
- PNR control, queues and fare regulations
- Updating the tracking spreadsheets (sales, reservations, incidents)
- Contribution to weekly and monthly reporting
Desired Candidate Profile
Required Qualifications
- A degree in tourism, management or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum two (02) years of experience in ticket reservations and customer support.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to use reservation systems and computer tools.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of travel industry policies and procedures.
Desired skills
- Experience with reservation systems like Amadeus.
- Foreign language skills.
- Familiarity with the practices and trends of the travel industry.
