Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient backend systems using Python and related technologies, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices for seamless communication between frontend and backend components, adhering to best practices and security standards.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, utilizing appropriate design patterns and frameworks like Django or Flask for streamlined development.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Optimize database queries and schema design for maximum performance and data integrity, working with databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring, ensuring rapid and reliable releases.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in software engineering principles.
  • Possesses a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in backend development using Python, showcasing practical application of skills.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in Python and relevant frameworks (Django, Flask), showcasing hands-on experience in building scalable applications.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development, showcasing the ability to build and maintain robust and efficient APIs.
  • Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra), showing database design and query optimization skills.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), indicating the ability to deploy and manage applications.
