Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage daily financial transactions, including cash handling, sales reconciliation, and vendor payments, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, providing insights into bakery performance.

  • Oversee inventory costing and management, tracking ingredients and supplies to minimize waste and optimize profitability.

  • Conduct variance analysis, comparing actual costs to budgeted figures, identifying areas for improvement and cost control.

  • Maintain payroll records and respond to any payroll-related inquiries.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a related role allows for practical application of knowledge.

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field provides a strong foundation for financial roles.

  • Prior experience in the food and beverage industry, particularly in a bakery setting, is highly advantageous.

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

  • Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks and MS Office, especially Excel.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, Good communication and teamwork skills.
