Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Assist with cleaning, sanitation, and kitchen maintenance; stock shelves with kitchen items and condiments; open bakery supplies; deliver baked goods to customers; maintain bakery cleanliness
  • Insure sales floor, service counter, and bakery is clean
  • Prepare and portion dough, cakes, and other baked goods; mix batters; check ingredients for freshness
  • Set up bakery for morning and late-night bakery operations
  • Inform manager when ingredients or equipment need replacement
  • Inform manager when baked goods need to be ordered
  • Stock bakery cooler
  • Pack baked goods for orders
  • Inform manager when baked goods need to be ordered
  • Take and make deliveries to schools, businesses, and customers
  • Answer customer questions
  • Clean and maintain bakery area
  • Clean and stock bakery area
  • Clean and stock bakery

Qualification & Skills:

  • 1-2 years of experience in the same field
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proven ability to manage shifts
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven customer service experience
  • Excellent math and people skills
