Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy between company records and bank statements.
- Monitor and record all incoming and outgoing bank transactions in the accounting system.
- Prepare and process bank payments, transfers, and deposits in accordance with company policies.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues related to bank transactions promptly.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all banking activities and ensure proper documentation is filed.
- Coordinate with internal departments to verify transaction details and resolve queries.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to banking activities.
- Support external and internal audits by providing necessary bank-related documentation and explanations.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and best practices in banking operations.
- Contribute to process improvements in banking and reconciliation procedures to enhance efficiency.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of proven experience in bank accounting or a similar finance role.
- Strong understanding of bank reconciliation processes and financial controls.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills for coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Egyptian banking regulations and financial practices.
- Demonstrated integrity and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
