Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Reconcile daily bank transactions against the general ledger, meticulously identifying and resolving discrepancies to ensure financial accuracy.
- Investigate and correct outstanding items, such as uncleared checks and deposits in transit, by collaborating with internal departments and banks.
- Prepare and analyze bank reconciliation reports, providing insightful summaries of financial activity and highlighting potential risks.
- Manage and maintain banking relationships, promptly addressing inquiries and resolving issues to ensure smooth financial operations.
Desired Candidate Profile
High school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience in bank reconciliation or a related accounting role, showcasing practical application of skills.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel, demonstrating technical competence.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and bank reconciliation procedures, ensuring a solid foundation.
