Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Planning & Coordination:

  • Coordinate with the sales and events department to ensure a perfect understanding of customer needs.

  • Participate in event briefing meetings.

  • develop operational schedules based on the banquet calendar.

2. Rational Operational Supervision:

  • Ensure the rooms are set up according to Sofitel standards (dressing, decoration, audiovisual equipment, etc.).

  • Supervise the smooth running of events by ensuring constant monitoring of the service.

  • Manage and motivate banquet service teams (head waiters, servers, assistants).

  • to be the client's main point of contact during the event.

3. Administrative Management:

  • Check the function sheets for events and verify internal invoices.

  • Ensure cost monitoring, stock management and inventories related to the banquet service.

  • Analyze customer feedback and implement corrective action plans.

4. Management & Formation :

  • To supervise, train and evaluate banquet teams.

  • D. Develop the skills and versatility of staff.

  • Maintain a positive and motivating work environment.

5. Qualit & Standards Sofitel :

  • Guaranteeing a high-end service in accordance with Sofitel / Accor standards.

  • Ensure compliance with hygiene (HACCP), safety and equipment maintenance standards.

  • To represent the image of the hotel with elegance, professionalism and a sense of service.

Desired Candidate Profile

Excellent presentation and welcoming manner.

Mastery of French and English , both spoken and written.

Excellent communication, organizational, and team management skills.

Proficiency in computer tools (Office Suite, event management software such as Opera/Symphony/Fidelio).

Stress resistance, rigor, flexibility and responsiveness.

Bachelor's degree (3 years of higher education) or Master's degree (5 years of higher education) in hospitality/catering or management.

Significant experience (minimum 3 years) in a similar position within a high-end establishment or a 5-star hotel.

Experience in a Sofitel hotel or within the Accor group is an asset.
