Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Masterfully craft a diverse range of coffee and espresso beverages, from classic lattes to unique Filipino coffee creations, ensuring consistent quality and taste.
  • Expertly operate and maintain coffee equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and brewing devices, adhering to strict hygiene and safety standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service with a warm and welcoming demeanor, offering knowledgeable recommendations and personalized attention to each guest.
  • Accurately process customer orders and handle cash transactions, while maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including the bar and seating areas.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of coffee origins, roasting processes, and brewing methods to educate customers and enhance their experience.
  • Prepare and serve food items, such as pastries, sandwiches, and Filipino snacks, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety guidelines.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a barista role, showcasing hands-on experience and practical skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a passion for the coffee industry.
  • Filipino nationality preferred, with a deep understanding and appreciation of Filipino culture and coffee traditions.
  • Proficient in operating espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment, demonstrating technical expertise.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to engage customers, handle complaints, and build rapport.
