Barista Niloufer

Job Purpose: The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, beverages, and light food items while ensuring excellent customer service. The role requires maintaining cleanliness, following food safety standards, and creating a welcoming environment for guests. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffee and tea drinks. Ensure consistency in beverage quality, presentation, and taste. Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other café equipment safely and efficiently. Take customer orders, process payments, and handle POS transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the café area, equipment, and utensils at all times. Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations as per UAE standards. Restock supplies, manage inventory levels, and report shortages to the supervisor. Provide excellent customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve complaints professionally. Assist in promoting café products and upselling items to maximize sales. Support the team in daily operations and contribute to a positive work environment. Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or barista training is an advantage. Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Barista or in a similar role (preferred in the UAE/GCC). Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and café equipment. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask. Basic math skills for handling cash and operating POS systems. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Team-oriented with a positive attitude. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods.
