Bartender/Barista

Job Scope:

The Barista/Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests while ensuring exceptional service standards and maintaining the highest level of product quality. The role focuses on delivering a memorable guest experience, maintaining cleanliness of the bar area, and supporting the overall food and beverage operations.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including coffee, specialty drinks, cocktails, and other beverages according to standard recipes.

• Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to guests at all times.

• Ensure beverages are prepared consistently and presented according to quality standards.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and beverage preparation areas.

• Monitor beverage stock levels and report shortages to the supervisor or manager.

• Ensure proper handling and storage of all beverage products and ingredients.

• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations while preparing beverages.

• Promote beverage offerings and make recommendations to guests when appropriate.

• Handle guest orders accurately and efficiently.

• Ensure all equipment such as coffee machines and bar tools are properly maintained and cleaned.

• Assist with opening and closing procedures of the bar area.

• Maintain a professional appearance and follow grooming standards.

• Support other food and beverage team members when required.

• Ensure compliance with hotel policies and beverage service standards.

• Handle guest feedback professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
