Batching Plant Supervisor Webuild S.p.A.

We are seeking a highly experienced and meticulous Batching Plant Supervisor to oversee and manage all operations of our concrete batching plants for a LARGE SCALE INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT in DUBAI, UAE. The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of progressive experience, particularly with high-volume production on major infrastructure or civil engineering projects. You will be responsible for ensuring the production of high-quality concrete that meets all project specifications, optimizing plant efficiency, and maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

• Supervise and manage the daily operations of the concrete batching plant, including raw material handling, batching, mixing, and loading.
• Develop and implement daily and weekly production schedules to meet the project's concrete delivery requirements.
• Monitor and adjust batching operations in real-time to ensure the concrete mix designs adhere precisely to specified quality and strength standards (e.g., cube testing, slump tests).
• Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) team, material suppliers, and site logistics to ensure a seamless and efficient supply chain.
• Oversee the dispatch and tracking of concrete deliveries (truck-mixers) to various locations on the project site.
• Manage the preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules for all plant equipment (mixers, conveyors, silos, control panels, etc.).
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions quickly to minimize downtime and maintain production targets.
• Monitor and manage inventory of all raw materials, including cement, aggregates, water, and chemical admixtures, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Implement procedures to optimize plant performance, reduce waste, and manage energy consumption.
• Enforce rigorous Quality Control (QC) protocols in coordination with the QC department to ensure all concrete is batched and mixed according to approved specifications.
• Maintain accurate and detailed batch records, logbooks, and production reports for auditing and compliance purposes.
• Conduct daily safety briefings (Toolbox Talks) and ensure all plant operations strictly comply with the company's HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies and UAE regulations.
• Train and mentor plant operators and staff on best practices, quality control, and safety procedures.
