Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


  • Engage with prospective students and parents through outbound/inbound calls, face-to-face counselling sessions, and virtual or in-person meetings to convert leads into confirmed admissions.
  • Make outbound calls daily to generate leads, qualify prospects, and schedule counselling sessions.
  • Understand student goals, academic background, and preferences to recommend the most suitable courses and batches.
  • Follow up with interested leads through calls, WhatsApp, and emails until successful enrolment.
  • Close sales and achieve monthly admission targets through effective communication and persuasion.
  • Maintain detailed records of interactions, follow-ups, and conversions using CRM tools.
  • Collaborate with academic and operations teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for enrolled students.
  • Participate in periodic training and performance reviews to enhance sales effectiveness.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in sales, telesales, or direct admissions (EdTech or education sector preferred).
  • Excellent verbal communication skills in English (knowledge of additional Indian languages is an advantage).
  • Strong negotiation, persuasion, and objection-handling skills.
  • Goal-oriented, self-driven, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts or weekends, if required.

Qualifications

  • Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
  • Minimum 1 year of sales/admissions closing experience (exceptional freshers may be considered).
